I made an hardware project for BMC64.
I want to demo this BMC64 in Nijmegen. I know its an C64, but I think the best hardware/emulator would be OpenMSX on Circle on an RPI.
Why? It boots in seconds, its opensource, it cannot brick the sd-card, has almost no latency. Best hardware/emulator I have ever seen.
It's all about look and feel.
I hope you like it, if anyone wants to experience it, I will take it to Nijmegen.
I know OpenMSX runs op RPI in retro-I, not sure its possible to port it to circle?

Nice! I bet the big board was expensive to manufacture. Could be up to 7 euro per board.

Cool! I found info about Circle day before yesterday, and it was nice to see some ready bare metal kinda framework suited for such retrodevelopment. Great one, i was impressed (some months before when i tried to find some info on RPi bare metal programming i could only find stuff like "blink the great diode" on RPi forums, though Circle exists for quite some time but i was missing it). Linux is not realtime and it does matter for retro stuff (timings) so it is very good that Circle exists - makes RPi much more useful for it

I guess that porting Linux-oriented code is not the right way here, it will create unnessesary complication and overhead. Writing from scratch should be easier i think (having openMSX as a reference for technical details)

C64 emulation VIce is running on all systems and used for the emulation in Circle.
Openmsx runs also in retro-pi on an Raspberry, so....

I took a turboChameleon with an MSX core to Nijm last year. Most of the visitors was kind, there was no harm happening to the tC. Neat machine, too. Curious to see the Circle.

turboChameleon is an amazing product, I am happy to hear no damage has been done. I will take the Circle..

I have installed Sedai Linux on a RasPi and I'm very impressed about the short start-up time!
