Ok, that PDF is VERY interesting. Especially the last page.

It lists 2 unknown titles

RA001 おかず詳論家 which I'm not quite sure how to translate. It is some kind of healty food program
perhaps you need to separate the first three and last three symbols, and then you get "Side dish expert"

and...
RC726 Jogging Mate ジョギングメイト

I added both titles to GenMSX, and also quickly updated the wiki here. I also found the Japanese title for Keyboard Master which was missing and added that to GenMSX.

p.s. it also contains the reference to RA002 (King's Valley with Edit mode) which seemingly was never released stand-alone either. It was released however on the Konami Game Collection 1. But we already knew that.

It's apparent that Konami had some ideas having more (than we knew before) eductional/health(care) line in software too. Note that the Jogging Mate has a description about it's being offered with Action Mat. Software even had calculator how many calories you used.

Another line of products seems to have been based around VLM5030 speech synthesis chip. This is data found from internet (article in MSX Computing Magazine)

"Four cartridges incorporating speech synthesis are currently on trial at Konami.

Keyboard Master teaches the keyboard novice how to type properly using speech. Spelling Tree is a spelling game aimed at primary school children. Tennis is a sports simulation game and Magical Tree involves a boy trying to climb to the top of a tree."

As it is known for sure: Keyboard Master went to prototype stage, but then halted. And the prototype also includes this VLM5030.

Spelling Tree/Bee never came out, but was apparently near(?) ready according to effort to advertise it and a screenshot... Tennis and Magical Tree (same base engine as with Spelling Tree?), just a guess, but the coding for another sound chip got removed and games were released?

It would have been interesting to know why so much effort and cancelling products which even got early advertising. Was there some bigger problems when generating the speech synthesis, even with dedicated chip. The chip wasn't that uncommon in Konami's arcade games.

According to MSX Magazine, Tentochito was never meant to be released on cartridge but on disc. That's definately something to correct on the list.

@Wimpie3. I agree, but then why does it have a RC code and not a RA code? (RC763)

@Stt1, if you have any corrections that you think need to be made to GenMSX, it will be better if you just post them on the forum here or on GenMSX and not use the "Contribute" button on the GenMSX website. I have no idea where those contributions end up. I have no access to them.

@Stt1 something else about the brochure, it is not an "early" 1984 issue. The publication date is on the back in standard Japanese Year-Month-Day format. It is 1984-10-1, or in other words, October 1st 1984.

@wimpie3, I don't personally know where the RC code came from. I thought you perhaps would know :-)

You can find it on the wiki here and on GenMSX. And Tagoo also says it is a ROM
