I have connected a Moonsound cartridge in my Turbo-r. I open a Midi file and after that i just select Play...
The MIO thing i will try (nice to try) but i want to use my moonsound to playback a midi file. Tongue

Ig you have two MSXes and two midi interfaces, you can use a program which used to be called -midi.com by Eric Maas... But iirc the name changed to mid2opl4.com or sumtin...
I used that in the late 90s. Had a midi player playing the .mid on one msx with a musicmodule/midi-out cable to the other msx's musicmodule's midi in where -midi.com was playing the received midi data on the moonsound.

Ah come on, what are you all talking about. Meridian plays MID-files perfectly using OPL4!!

edoz, you must load the OPL4 soundbank as well in Meridian. I believe it's included in the download package. It's also available in the MRC Downloads as a stand-alone download, though...
