The screenshots you put are not the same as tagoo.
You was wrong when talking about 'non-standard Kanji-ROM"... so what must I think???
mars2000you, do you always need to be so unpleasant? You was wrong when talking about missing Roms. so what must I think?
On the same page, it is also mentioned that a Kanji-ROM is required to use the Sony HBS-B003C cartridge Word Land Sentence II: HBS-B003C SONY ワードランド文II - 要漢字ROM
I know, no one is saying otherwise. I said there is no English-Japanese dictionary. It's not the same thing.
5ee my edited post.
Maybe some meaningful info about Kanji level 1 can be obtained from the SKW-01.
@Andres: Have you tried the proposed solutions (SD image to a bigger SD, key press, poke/_system) yet?
If you still have the possibility, could you take detailed photos of the back of the PCB (the green coloured side), please? Especially in the area below IC13-IC15.
@Pentarou Couldn’t try anything yet. Will do it a s soon as I keep up with my work

Bigger SD didn't work.
Key press' didn't work.
Poke didn't work.
Requested PCB images
boot A video showing how it's been working with every possible solution so far.
Reverse engineering tools didn't work too. In MSX-Basic, RUN'"XYZ.bas" returns a "Device I/O error".
If Kanji-ROM copy software doesn't work, it's probably because the Kanji-ROM is not standard. Where can we find the dump of firmware and the Bios? It might help to understand what is causing conflict.
Also try with an SD card with one partition of 16MB formatted in FAT12 and with just DOS1 installed then check the Memory Mapper if it runs.

I'm selling the machine + cartridges to local MSX collectors. I believe they will experiment and enjoy the computer better than me. Thank you all for your patience and advice
.
Do you have a separate disk drive to connect to it to run the reverse engineering tools?
It has no memory mapper standard 64 kB. The kanji rom is present in normal way Dos2.2 cartridge handles with it.
The dump of the slots do i have on disk.
Very interested in the 64kB slot dumps!
