Are you talking about blip festival? I would like to check it out if I have a chance.

Music by most of the artists in the video, such as Bit Shifter and Nullsleep and XK, seems to be released under 8Bit Peoples label. There is a torrent that seems to be released with permission.
Pretty cool documentary and music :D

mm, isn't all our psg/scc/fm music "chip music" automatically? Would such chip parties play game music from -say- MSXdev games? Or is that not geeky enough? Tongue

I think that if you play some of the better msx demos at an average 90s music party, people might actually like it; especially if the visuals of the demos are projected by a beamer.

Guess what I've been doing the last 10 years Wink
Yes going back to blip this year in december. Nullsleep is the guy who runs 8bitpeoples, (considered as one of the most leading chiplabels) and he played in Holland together with bit shifter. Xik has released some hardware called the midines,
enabling people to use the nes soundchip with any midi device. Most of these people I've known for quite some years now, bumping into eachother in various countries for gigs.
