(there's no MSX-DOS1 ROM btw, it only ... it should be mapper from offset 0x4000

How hard such modifications are? That really depends ... (using 8 KB. blocks), so that the Z80 CPU can use lots of game data stored in megaROMs.
Memory ... with MSX2 is one, and Konami's SCC chip is another. Several other types exist - used in other megaROMs ...
