The MSX Community often seems like a men's world, but nothing can be further from the truth. Yumiko ShimaMura (YSMSX) created a Yahoo Group especially for all the MSX-minded ladies. Over here she would like to talk about the good times she had with MSX, meet new and old friends, review games and applications, organize lotteries and other activities related to MSX.

Everyone seems to be updating their sites lately: GOOD! WinkMSX Hans has updated his site too, he uploaded new user manuals, service manuals, Toshiba Music system, Second drive for Turbo R to his site.He has some plans for the future too and would like some help on info.

We have just added a new link to our overview of MSX websites. The website MSX Hardware Argentina is back online in a completely new design. The website contains information and technical documents of MSX (related) hardware, with special focus on hardware developed in Argentina.

Carlos Maidana's site dedicated to MSX is back online with a new blog layout focused on hardware and software projects for MSX. To celebrate this rebirth, two brand new articles have been published. The first one is about a memory upgrade from 128kB to 512kB for a Talent TPC-310 -an MSX2 computer- suitable for any other MSX computer with the S1985 engine.

Hans Oranje, the thriving force behind Hardware Partners Nederland made a few changes to his website and added some contents. New articles are

  • How to upgrade an NMS-8245 with an ordinary 1MB SIMM
  • Description of the internal DOS2 designs

The website contains a lot of information on upgrading MSX computers, categorized in computer brands and types.

Yesterday, Alex Wulms launched a new online version of the MSX Hardwarelist. The new version is database-driven which gives quite a lot of advantages over the static HTML hardwarelist that can be found here.

We found a link to a website that wasn't listed in our downloads database yet on MSX Posse. The MSX Hinter website offers hints to many MSX games in both Dutch and English.

We have just added a link to a new website to our links section. This new website, MSX História offers images of cartridge labels for download. With these, people can restore their original cartridges in case the labels were damaged.
