Sonyc goes freeware
Today the MSX game 'Sonyc' was declared freeware by its makers. Sonyc is a fast platform game based on the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog games known from Sega consoles. If you have an MSX2+ or higher (MSX2 with an V9958 will do as well), 128KB RAM and MSX-Music you really should try this game.
Demonseed (John Hassink) has just released a playable demo of the MSX2 game he is currently working on, codenamed Soulgrinder - Sun of Guile. The current demo comes with a prologue, a playable demo with limited features and a music player in which several MSX-MUSIC songs Demonseed made for the game can be listened to.

Ricardo Bittencourt has just released a port of a Colecovision version of Space Invaders, which is very close to the original Arcade version which had the early gamingworld in its grasp for a long time. The Colecovision port, Space Invaders collection, was created by Eduardo Mello of Opcode Games.
Space Manbow 2 - preview
In Bussum 2005 and Nijmegen 2006 the brand new Dutch MSX development group RenovatiO demonstrated their upcoming game called Space Manbow 2.
During the MSX fair in Bussum, TNI announced they are to release Space Manbow 2, the upcoming Space Manbow fangame of the brand new MSX development group RenovatiO.
