The Karoshi Corporation has just announced yet another game for MSXdev'08: La Corona Encantada. This Spanish team is no stranger to the yearly MSXdev contest. Each year they manage to bring up a game which is usually of high quality, especially in the graphics department.
Not the new Konami, not the new Micro Cabin and not the new Compile. With a title like 'PWND - Of je worst lust' that would've been quite impossible. PWND looks like a 1-day project by Metal Soft, one which may not become like the most serious entry of 'em all.
MSXdev'03 results
On March 13th Eduardo Robsy Petrus opened the MSXdev'03 competition. With this competition he celebrated the 20th anniversary of MSX and he challenged people to develop one or more games for the computer on which it all began: A genuine MSX1 with 16kB RAM and 16kB VRAM.
Many people accepted the challenge, but only little succeeded.
MSXdev'04 - Closed
Two hours ago the MSXdev'04 competition closed. The MSX1 game development contest turned out to be a huge success with a grand total of 16 new MSX1 games released since the contest started in february.

Karoshi Corporation have submitted another entry to the MSXdev'04 challenge: Factory infection. The purpose of the game is to keep a virus from spreading in the Karoshi corporation productions by shooting it, using two cannons. Of course, there are a lot of items you are not allowed to shoot.
MSXdev'04 entry: Gniffel
Thanks to the MSXdev'04 competition something very unusual has happened this week. In 3 days time, 4 new MSX1 games were released. Who would have thought that was possible, only 2 years ago?
Todays MSXdev'04 release is called Gniffel.
Another MSX1 game has been added to the list of MSXdev'04 entries. After creating Kralizec Battle Tetris Kralizec decided to create a single-player Tetris game for this MSX1 game development competition as well.
Madonna Mark II, well known from Matranet, has finished developing Sink King, an entry for the MSXdev'04 competition. The game can be downloaded from the MSXdev'04 status page. The game is available as ROM, MSX-DOS loader and WAV file.
