Kuniji Ikeda has informed us that he has got several brand new keyboard films for Panasonic turboR computers in stock. These film cables can be used to replace dirty keyboard films which cause some keys of the keyboard not to function properly anymore. With 19 in stock, the keyboard films are available for 3400 yen ex. shipping costs.

At the 2013 MSX fair in Nijmegen some of the openMSX members took some measurements of a V9938 using a logic analyzer. After analyzing this data, they figured out when exactly the VDP reads or writes VRAM for which purpose.
Gilberto Dosvualdo (gilberto.dosvualdo@alcatel.it) reported that he has Yamaha V9958 chips for sale, at $15 each. These chips are the video processor of MSX2+ and MSX Turbo-R computers, so they are used for upgrading MSX2 computers to MSX2+ (the computer BIOS must be replaced too in order to achieve a full upgrade).
For many years there were rumors that Panasonic was working on a third, never released MSX turboR computer which was supposedly to become the turboR XT.
