Last night TNI completed their entry to the MRC Bounce Challenge. TNI's Bounce 2004 demo starts as an ordinary logo and scroll demo. But then... things get really bouncy! This MSX2/MSX-MUSIC demo is certainly worth watching completely.
The 15th and final entry to the MRC Bounce challenge comes from Infinite, MRC Challenge regulars who won the Under Water Challenge with their demo Coral 2 and ranked third in the Snowfall challenge with their entry
Desire in Envy is back with a contribution to the MRC Bounce Challenge. The man behind Desire in Envy, Vincent van Dam entered the previous MRC Challenges with MSX1 games, this time he created an MSX1/64kB/DOS1 demo in the tradition of Bandwagon and Lieves!Tuore.
On October 11th, 23:59 CET the Bounce Challenge closes.
MRC Bounce Challenge: Closed
On July 18th we started the third MSX Resource Center development contest: the MRC Bounce Challenge. Now, thirtheen weeks later, this challenge has come to an end. Once again, many active MSX developers (novice and experienced) showed their skills by creating nice bouncy demo's or games.
We are very proud to announce that a new milestone was reached for the MSX Resource Center. Today, the 2000nd post was made on our forum.
Although we have had a forum for quite a long time, its activity started to rise with the launch of our new website in december 2002.
MRC Contacts List - update
Requested long time ago, the MRC Contacts list - a list of no less than 1,176 members of the MSX Resource Center who have agreed to share their contact info with logged in visitors of the MRC - has been updated a bit. Finally, you can now browse the Contacts, ICQ and MSN lists by the first letter of the user's nickname.
Almost exactly a month ago we introduced a new feature on the MSX Resource Center: A contacts section only to be seen by members who were logged in to the MRC. At the time, 152 of 1105 members had already given permission to add their information to this contact list.
A bit more than a month ago the MRC Contacts list (which is only visible to members who are logged in) grew from its 152 members to 200. We are very pleased to announce there are now 250 active members of the MSX Community listed in our Contacts section.
...and back we are with our monthly yet usually overdue list of most downloaded files from our freeware downloads corner. A lot of usual suspects in the lists this month again.
More than a week too late, but what can ya do. Yours truly spent some more time on game development than on MRC, so that's in a way a good thing.
