A new version of this front-end for blueMSX and openMSX has been released today.

TASing - creating a Tool-Assisted-Speedrun - is the hobby, or art if you like, of creating ultimate run-throughs of video games. Basically the goal is to use tools to create the best possible speedrun of a game, taking out the limiting factor that human players can be (and often are).

Ever wanted to play MSX games on a device that wasn't built for gaming, e.g. on MP3 player? Then you need Rockbox, a replacement OS running on a variety of media players such as Archos, iriver, Cowon, Sansa e200 and old iPods, for which you can develop a plugin in the C language.

After a long period of silence, Tim Brugman and Maikel Bloemendal released a new version of BlueMSX-Wii. Earlier, version 1.0.1 was released silently, as it only contained a few minor bugfixes and version 1.0.2 was scheduled for release shortly after that.

Yesterday, Pandora-MSX 1.1.0 was released. This is Marat Fayzullin's fMSX, ported to Pandora, the compact handheld featuring a Qwerty keyboard and lots more. Once again a penguin gazes at you, at the Pandora website, certainly the most popular inhabitant of Antarctica we've ever come across.
