On January 17th in Oss, Delta Soft showed a slightly changed version of Usas, where the Japanese emoticons are changed to graphical ones. BiFi has made a patch for it and put it on his Home Page. At the moment the patch is only available in the Archives.

Hi, MSXers.I’m proud to announce a new release, 0.1.7, of UZIX.Some highlights:

  • kernel enhancement;
  • some kernel bugfixes;
  • better module handling (now the local ping wastes only 100ms!);
  • more robust handling for module ’orphan calls’;

  • UZIX 0.1.8 diskimage (for those who don’t have HD);
  • new version of TCP/IP Stack, including:
  • modularization and bugfixes;
  • Van Jacobson compression and CHAP authentication support;
  • ANSI emulation in telnet (check the screenshots);
