Bombaman update released!

After quite a long wait, Team Bomba finally managed to release the updated version of Bombaman. The most important feature of this new version is the inclusion of two extra languages, French and German. Also, quite some bugs were fixed in this version, and some other things were done to improve the game.

As of today, Paragon's Bomberman 2 can be downloaded for free! In the past time, MSX users have informed Paragon that their downloaded or bought copy of this game didn't work. So, there actually is a non-working copy out there, a bug which manifests itself in level 5, and it happens on both original MSX machines and emulators.

Andrea Gasparini has sent a new game to MSXdev'05: BOMBMAN, an arcade game in which you have to destroy all the bombs within a maze before the time runs out. If not, the tremendous explosion will kill you. This simple game concept was programmed in MSX-BASIC and then converted to ROM.

On the MSX fair in Bussum, 2004 Darkstone released their first MSX game: Bounce Mania. The purpose of the game? Guiding a bouncing ball through a variety of mazes whilst avoiding obstacles. MRC bought the game and put it to the test. The result is the review you can read right here.
