MSXdev'07 #02: Yahtzee
Daniel Vik, known for his refreshing MSX1 demos as well as being a BlueMSX developer, has just joined the MSXdev'07 contest with the second finished game: Yahtzee. This game was created by dvik in... 1986!
An MSX user from the Canary Islands (Spain) has reported the existence of two Konami games released by Topia (South Korea) in tape format: Knightmare and Twin Bee. It seems that they make use of the MSX2 capabilities.
Penguin Adventure Quizz
An animated quiz, available in English and French, about Penguin Adventure has been released by lavap, a French MSX user.
Created with The Games Factory and featuring original graphics and sounds from the game, you'll have 34 questions to answer correctly in order to save the princess!
..and the honor for delivering the very first finished MSXDev'07 entry goes to: Andrea Gasparrini, an MSXDev regular! In this 16KB ROM you get to shoot balloons with your spaceship.
In the yearly MSXDev competitions you may submit an entry that's compliant with the rules given by the MSXDev'07 organizers.
MSX demo: Utopia
On April 28th, Daniel Vik and Vincent van Dam released a new MSX1 demo. The demo is called Utopia and is the sequel of MSX Unleashed.

Planet of the Epas
During Breakpoint 2007, a large demo scene event in Bingen am Rhein, Germany a new MSX demo was released by the demo group Traktor. The demo contains several impressive effects and is certainly worth having a look at.
Los Jardines de Zee Wang Zu, a snake game created by Jos'B for last year's MSXdev'06 contest has been updated. This new version now features SCC music! To download it, visit the MSXDev'06 section of the MSXDev website.
Matra Computer Automations has just released the puzzle game Sudoku on cartridge. This game ranked 3rd place in the MSXDev'06 competition and this cartridge version has been improved with better generated puzzles.
