Description
MSXPC is a PC sold in Japan for the 20th Anniversary of MSX. It was released in April 2003 for ¥98,000. Initially, one hundred units were available on special reservation, then it was extended and more than 250 MSXPC were finally sold.
It is a common PC with a design all in one "like MSX". The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition. A mouse and a (bad) joypad were included. The serial number is in front with the name of the buyer.
Version 2 of the MSX emulator MSX-PLAYer is installed by default, it is the same version as the one available on the CD-ROM provided the same year with the book MSX Magazine Eternal Preservation Edition 2.
Note that the MSX Game Reader was not included!
