Effect

Initialises the terminal emulation mode.

Syntax

CALL DDXT<TerminalMode><EchoValue><LinesNumber>

Parameters

<TerminalMode> is a number between 0 and 3 to specify the terminal emulation mode:

  • 0 = normal mode (default value)
  • 1 = transmit Carriage Return will generate Carriage Return + Line Feed
  • 2 = receive Carriage Return will generate Carriage Return + Line Feed
  • 3 = 1 + 2

<EchoValue> is a number between 0 and 1 to enable or disable the echo feature allowing to detect errors in the data communication:

  • 0 = OFF (default value)
  • 1 = ON

<LinesNumber> is a number between 0 and 1 to specofy the number of lines on the screen:

  • 0 = 24 lines (default value)
  • 1 = 25 lines
