Effect

Renames the specified file on the Memory Disk.

Syntax

CALL MNAME ("<Filename1>" AS "<Filename2>")

Parameters

<Filename1> is the current file name, <Filename2> is the new name for this file.

File names are in the format 8 characters followed by a point and an extension with 3 characters. They need to be different and <Filename2> can't already be used for another file on the Memory Disk.

Only one file on the Memory Disk can be renamed. Trying to simultaneously rename several files will lead to an error message.
