Effect

Displays a list with all the linked lines of a MSX-BASIC program that is in the computer memory.

The list includes all the line numbers following instructions such as GOSUB, GOTO, RESUME, RESTORE, RETURN and specifies in which line number(s) they can be found.

Syntax

CALL XREF (<LineNumber>,P)

All the parameters are optional.

Parameters

Without any parameter, the complete list will be displayed on the screen.

<LineNumber> is used to limit the list to the linked lines for a specified line number.

With the P parameter, the data will be sent to the printer.

Examples

CALL XREF (120) ' to limit the list to the linked lines for line 120
CALL XREF (,P) ' to send the complete list of linked lines to the printer
CALL XREF (120, P) ' to send  the list of the linked lines for line 120 to the printer

Using

The execution of the instruction can be paused by pressing STOP. You can then resume it by pressing STOP again.

To completely stop the execution of this instruction, you need to press CTRL+STOP.
