Seikosha or Epson as they have typically been called since the mid-80's, is known as one of the largest printer manufacturers. They produced a few printers with support for the MSX character set for the Japanese market. In addition, Philips sold their printers in Europe under its own brand.
Notes:
- Before merging with Epson in 1985, the Seiko company was named as Seikosha
- Seiko Group is a Japanese corporate group consisting of three independent companies: Seiko Holding Corporation (clocks and watches), Seiko Instruments (electronic components and machine tools) and Seiko Epson (printers)
