The Goldstar FC-200 is the FC-80 (silver version), localised for the European market.

This computer was available in two colors schemes, one in grey and dark grey with colored keys and one completely in dark grey with grey keys. It has a code led (just like the hangul led on the FC-80).

At least some of the units came with a demo cassette, which contained a BASIC demo that showcased the capabilities of the computer and lists it's specifications. A recording of the demo.

The first version for the Netherlands was shown at fairs as the AVT FC-200, but the computer was commercially released only as the Goldstar FC-200, imported by the Dutch company AVT.

All models have a QWERTY keyboard. There are claims that there was a second revision of the French model with AZERTY keyboard, but no photos of one have turned up.

This computer is a MSX1 without MSX-Engine. The CPU is a Z80A from Goldstar (GSS Z8400A PS).

All features are common to the standard, apart from one: it has a hole at the right of the cartridge slot to store a lightpen when the pen is not in use. A lightpen was planned in option with its dedicated cartridge, but was never released.
