Introduction
Music disk published in September 1991 by the Impact team. It's the first disk in the MuSiX series and was followed by 4 other disks.
After a small intro, you access the replayer written in 80 columns text mode. If the default width on screen 0 is not set to 80, this replayer will not show correctly. You can fix that by adding SCREEN 0: WIDTH 80 at the beginning of line 10 in the AUTOEXEC.BAS file.
Content
It contains 16 songs written in the FAC Soundtracker 1 format for MSX-AUDIO or MSX-MUSIC (MUSIX.004 is actually the original FST.BIN driver). When both sound chips are present, MSX-AUDIO is automatically selected.
It is possible to enjoy a great stereo mode, you just need to replace the FST.BIN driver by STL2.BIN (driver used in STL 2.11 created by C.S.I and E.M.P.). However, you must delete the existing MUSIX.004 file and rename STL2.BIN as MUSIX.004.
