The National CF-2700 is same as the CF-1200, but has more RAM. It was produced by the Japanese corporation Matsushita Denki for the Japanese market. At that time National was the brand used in Japan and Panasonic was used for the international market.

The MSX1 product line from National was called "King-Kong". The computer consists out of a single unit with integrated keyboard and power supply. This model has 2 cartridge slots placed in parallel on the top right. The case is dark grey with light grey keys, with the cursor keys having a green accent. It has been produced before the CF-1200.

This machine has been localised for the European market - see Panasonic CF-2700 (GE) and CF-2700 (UK).
