Description
The Orionsoft Digital Data Recorder Interface is a cartridge that was sold in Brazil. The official product name is "Interface Digital Leitora de Fitas".
It needs to be inserted in a cartridge slot of a MSX computer and connected to a data recorder.
It allows to guarantee a better and faster loading of programs from tape, by using a digital circuit that eliminates all kinds of interferences and digitizes the signal, providing a pure square wave to the computer. No more need to find the best loading volume according the azimuth alignment of the data recorder.
The top part of the cartridge includes
- a button to speed up the loading and reach the high speed (2400 bauds)
- a led to visualize the work of the cartridge
