The Pioneer PX-7 is a MSX1 computer, aimed at the Japanese market. It was meant for attaching to a Laserdisc player, and as such has Superimpose capabilities. The PSG sound is stereo, contrary to almost all MSX machines.

The PX-7 was available in silver with Lilac keyboard keys, and in black as the PX-7(BK). Confusingly a black version was also released in the UK as the Pioneer PX-7(BK). And Pioneer also released the PX-V7 in Japan which seems to be identical to the PX-7.

The original Japanese silver and lilac keyboard has product code AWX-280-0, and the black keyboard has product code AWX-370-A.
