SVI RobotArm

SVI-2000 RobotArm can be controlled with MSX, if you have SVI-2000C ROGO language cartridge. Normally this catridge starts ROGO interpreter when inserted, but this can be prevented by inserting the cartridge to "I/O only slot". After this you can use it for example in your own BASIC or Assembler programs.

RobotArm will be connected to I/O ports 0 & 1

I/O port 0:

  • bit 0 = Axis 2 black (Forward)
  • bit 1 = Axis 2 white (Back)
  • bit 2 = Axis 1 white (Left)
  • bit 3 = Axis 1 black (Right)
  • bit 4 = Axis 5 close
  • bit 5 = Axis 5 open

I/O port 1:

  • bit 0 = Axis 3 black (Down)
  • bit 1 = Axis 3 white (Up)
  • bit 2 = Axis 4 black (Left)
  • bit 3 = Axis 4 white (right)
