Description
The Sanno PHC-SPC is the third MSX produced for the Sanno Institute of Management, a Japanese Institute, which had as its mission to computerize the Japanese schools. This program was lead by the Sanno Institute of Business Administration and SPC means 'Sanno Primary Computer'.
This model is also known as 'SPC Super' and was manufactured by Sanyo. It's actually the same machine as the Sanyo PHC-27 and was available in two colors (black & red).
It came with a tape containing the "Sanno Basic Master Program" and manuals with BASIC programming examples. These computers were meant to be used by students. Some other educational software was also created for Sanno. For example: Sanno CG, a graphic editor cartridge by Neos.

The Sanno/Sanyo PHC-SPC is a MSX1 with a a Z80A from Sharp (LH0080A) and an MSX-Engine S3527 from Yamaha.
The mainboard is labeled PHC-27. It's actually the same PCB!
