Description
The PHC-35J is a computer released on the Japanese market by Sanyo. It was not advertised in the various computer magazines since it was part of an educational package under the reference PHC-35JN as indicated on the box.
It's the only MSX2+ model that doesn't include a disk drive and one of two MSX2+ machines that lacks a built-in MSX-MUSIC, the other one being the Panasonic FS-A1FX. This model is also known as the Wavy35.
The package was made in collaboration with the Japan Management Association (JMA) to promote using of the computers in the schools, administrations and commercial companies.
Besides the PHC-35J computer, cables, the RF converter and the three Sanyo manuals, additional manuals and an educational cassette were provided.
Sanyo also sold another MSX2+ with either one or two floppy disk drives (Sanyo PHC-70FD or Sanyo PHC-70FD2).
