Description

The PHC-55FD2 is a rare computer and looks similar to the MSX2+ PHC-70FD2 with its two built-in disk drives, but it's a MSX2 with 128kB RAM, what's very uncommon for the Sanyo machines.

Another surprising thing is hidden inside the machine as it comes with the Toshiba T9763 MSX-Engine, apparently a prequel of the T9769 engine, that can be found for example on the PHC-70FD2, its big MSX2+ brother.

This computer is normally called Wavy55FD2 in Japan. It was available in black (K) or gray (G). It was not advertised in the different computer magazines, so we can presume that it was reserved for administrations and commercial companies in Japan.
