Description

The PHC-70FD is a computer released on the Japanese market by Sanyo. While this computer is an all in one, the floppy disk drive is placed facing the user. A Ren-Sha Turbo (autofire) is placed on the left of the disk drive. This model is not intended to add second floppy drive.

This computer is usualy called Wavy70FD in Japan. Official price: ¥64,800

This machine has been adapted for the Arabic countries - see Sakhr AX-370 - with more RAM and a MSX2 BIOS.

Specifications

The Sanyo PHC-70FD is an MSX2+ powered by a Z80A integrated in the MSX-Engine Toshiba T9769x (A or B).

This model is not intended to add second floppy drive except on the PCB. A second connector can be added.

Built-in MSX-BASIC Kun

This machine features the MSX-BASIC Kun built-in. To enable it and be able to use CALL RUN and CALL TURBO ON/OFF, you must type CALL BC beforehand.
