The HBP-F1C is a thermal color transfer printer with Japanese MSX character set, released in 1989 by Sony.

It includes a Kanji-ROM Level 1 and 2 (JIS1 + JIS2) and was sold with a floppy disk including printing tools. A second disk, F1 Tool Disk II with Halos and game programming tools was offered to people purchasing it from 1989-02-21 to 1989-04-20.

It uses HBP-R1 (black) or HBP-R1C (multicolor) ink ribbon cartridges. Epson PWP-915-BK (black) cartridges seem to be compatible as well.
