Sony PRN-M24 TypeII
Description
The Sony PRN-M24 Type II is a 24-dot matrix impact printer released in Japan in 1987 for use with MSX computers. It was sold with a format printing software on floppy disk.
It has exactly the same look at the PRN-M24, but there are three differences:
- internally, it has support not only for Kanji-ROM Level 1 (JIS1), but also for Level 2 (JIS2)
- a front sticker has been added to mention the extended Kanji-ROM support
- a sticker 'Type II" has been added on the underside
It was also available as Brother M-1024IIX, cost reduced version of the M-1024X, but you needed to update it to JIS2.
