Sony XV-J555

The Sony XV-J555 is a video titler appliance, aimed at the Japanese market. It is almost certainly a hidden MSX. It has all the MSX2 components, including an MSX-Engine chip, the Yamaha S1985. It's ROM chips still need to be dumped and checked to confirm.

Running MSX programs on this, other then the integrated video titler software will be tricky. The machine does not have a data recorder port, and neither does it have a disk drive or even a regular MSX cartridge slot. It also does not have a regular keyboard.

As such this machine is only recommended if you want to try to hack the hardware.

The machine does have a internal 30-pin connector, which is probably meant for diagnostic purposes.
