Yamaha MD-01
Description
The Yamaha MD-01 is a special modem, sold for some MSX2 computers to access to the Captain system. Official name is "Captain Modem Unit".
This device requires
- a Japanese MSX2 computer with at least 128kB RAM, 128kB VRAM and a Yamaha module slot, what limits the choice to the 5 following computers:
- the Yamaha SCA-01 module installed in the module slot
When the modem is connected to the module and a phone line, it transforms the MSX2 computer into a Videotex terminal level 2.
